Serving Voluntarily

NavSamajdarpan (NSD – U.K) is a registered social, cultural, welfare and voluntary and not for profit organisation (Registered in England and Wales, Number – 11934254). NSD was formed in 2019 with a clear vision and objective to lay foundations for Telugu speaking community.

NavSamajdarpan works for the society by encouraging cultural values by conducting cultural events, Indian regional languages books exhibitions and donating books to the public libraries of the United Kingdom voluntarily.

The main objective of the organisation is to serve the people voluntarily for the right cause in the United Kingdom. We are bringing awareness of Telugu languages through the different activities which can encourage Telugu Community to keep alive the literature for the current and future generations of Telugu origin community in the United Kingdom. Our mission “Akshara Paatra” is to establish the Telugu language as well as other Indian regional languages books at public libraries of the United Kingdom voluntarily.

Part of this programme, Telugu Kindergarten, Devotional and General category books were donated on 23rd April 2019 to the Grays library and along with other eight public libraries of Thurrock district in Essex.

We hold two days Telugu books exhibition at Great Britain’s Grays’ public library on 24th and 31st of August 2019 successfully.

Navsamajadarpan attracted multi-culture Community at Thurrock Community Conference with Telugu language kindergarten books and literacy awareness promotional stall when Thurrock CVS conducted as “Working together to build stronger” communities on 7th October 2019.

On 13th January 2020, Navsamajdarpan proudly presented Telugu books to The United Kingdom’s national library of British Library in Central London, UK, in association with Dr K V Ramanachary IAS (Retd) & Telangana state government advisor for culture, Tourism, Endowments, Youth and Media affairs and Gnanam Foundation.
